Part 3
With my third book, The Chosen, I wanted to venture into deeper philosophical territory. The novel explores the intersection of fate and free will, challenging readers to consider how their choices shape their lives. It’s a story about destiny, but also about the power of personal agency and the consequences of the decisions we make. This was a book I felt needed a more introspective and layered approach, and Sweetspire embraced that vision fully.

Writing The Chosen was an exciting departure from my earlier thrillers. It allowed me to explore complex ideas and themes that I had always been interested in. The challenge, however, was balancing the philosophical aspects with a compelling narrative that would keep readers engaged. Sweetspire’s team was incredibly helpful in ensuring the pacing didn’t bog down under the weight of heavy ideas. They pushed me to keep the story dynamic while still allowing for the reflective depth I wanted to convey.
The final result is a book that’s both thought-provoking and emotionally engaging, and I’m grateful to Sweetspire for their ongoing support and guidance. Their collaboration allowed me to write something truly unique and a bit more experimental—while still making sure it connected with readers on a personal level.
